34 school-aged children have been taken to Calgary hospitals after a school bus jumped a curb in a residential area and hit a house.
It happened Thursday morning just after 8am in Huntington Hills.
The front end of the bus is smashed, a tree has toppled over, and a mini-van involved in the collision fli;pped onto its roof.
The Calgary Public School District says 17 children were taken to hospital by ambulance and another 17 were transported by bus.
Injuries to the children are not considered serious, but the driver suffered what paramedics are calling serious injuries.
The driver of the mini-van was also taken to hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
