Default Good photo viewers for Windows

Do people just use the default photo viewer built into 7 and vista or is there a good photo viewer out there to try? I used to use vuepro but I don't have a 64 bit version..

I just use the default viewer, it shows me my pics so that's all I need. Am I missing out on something with a more beefy viewer?

I've always liked Irfanview. Particularly for resizing and the EXIF information it can handle. Freeware too.

I use Picasa because it does many different things very well at a basic level (viewing, sorting, grouping, labeling, searching, editing, importing, exporting, uploading, etc). There could very well be better software out there for exactly what you need, but I do like Picasa and would recommend it if you haven't tried it yet. I also remember using and liking Irfanview back in the day due to it's ease of use.

I use lightroom since it incorporates sorting, viewing, exporting and basic editing. It's a little pricy, especially compared the the freeware alternatives, but I like the "All-in-one" aspect of the program.
