When you guys go to the Oilers official forums or hockeyfuture's Oilers forum (kiddiekorner.com) you get what you deserve.

Have I now seen everything?? Oilers fans are 'giving up' on Hemsky and wanting him traded? Is his contract really that bad?

Yes, its bizzare. I actually like Hemsky despite all the pinky comments here, the guy's willing to take a play to make a play. He looks a little funny but he can play on my team any day.

For 4.1MM, I would be happy to have him play with Iggy and Jokinen. Imagine what he could do without having to compete against Regehr 6 times a season?

Hemsky plays sort of like how I play. I take a big hit, get up, brush myself off and keep on playing. Some of my teammates wonder how I get up after taking a hit and doing a 720 in the air, and why I'll get up and stay in the play and keeping playing and getting in the face of guys who are twice as big as me.

It is totally unreasonable how much it annoys me. I want to punch him in the face.

My wife is the most patient person on earth, she could wake up to him cutting off her boob with a knife and flushing it down the toilet and she would say "oh well he's just being a kid". I mentioned his annoying voice to her expecting to be lambasted on what a dick I am, but instead she said "wholly crap, his voice is brutal, I can't stand it".
You never fail to make me laugh haha.

Hmmmm....oh I so look forward to another season of "Florida doesn't deserve a hockey team"...........I understand the basic sentiment, but past a certain point it gets a little pathetic.

I know what you mean... It seems like my kid is always whining and crying and screaming.

It's almost like she's trying to tell me to change her, feed her or hold her. Stoopid 3 month old. Learn to talk and then I might do something

Blame evolution; children are good at demanding attention from all nearby adults as a survival mechanism, both in the higher pitch of their voices and in the involuntary need to pay attention we feel when hearing such a voice raised in whinging. This is, IMO, the holy grail of genetic engineering: babies that raise one hand and say, "Excuse me mother, I could really use a hit off the ol' teat right about now," in soft voices like civilized beings.

Babies aren't going to magically evolve into better behaved people than their parents or culture that raises them.

Yah, hence the genetic engineering. Is it noisy in here or something?

Last night was interesting.

I saw him and the next thing I remember I was choking him, and then a bunch of people pulled us apart. I told him he better have straws at home, because he's going to be eating through one right away, and he better keep his head up.

I looked ridiculous and the line I yelled out was corny, but I felt a lot better after.

I hope that you both don't allow him to get away with too much because 'he's just being a kid'. There are enough kids out there that are disliked because their parents let them get away with everything because they are just a kid.
