Ot- Big Fire Downtown???

[Calgary Flames]

Look out my window to the north looks to be downtown there is a TON of black smoke billowing into the air.. anyone know what the hell is going on??

I don't think its downtown. I'm in Ramsey (just south of Inglewood) and it looks just a few miles south of here. Industrial area perhaps. Not sure what's going on - may be worth a short little drive to check out.

Yeah it doesn't look like Downtown... but there is definetely alot of smoke... reminds me of that condo fire a couple years ago.

Hmmm, seems like it's out now... It looked like a pretty darn big blaze judging from the smoke.

Yah I am stuck on the west side of downtown too. All I see is the BMO, Scotia and TD buildings when I look to the East. Damn Banks!!

Yeah I can only see the Standard Life building and the HP building. Bah, oh well at least I have a great view of the fountains at the McDougel Centre...

Definetely not... I've seen Airport drills in the past and this didn't seem to be in the area of the airport and it seemed alot bigger.

The fire is near the corner of Mcleod and Heritage in the south, on Horton Road.

Smoke going across Mcleod.

Took a drive to see what it was but it was much further than I figured so I turned back. It seems like its a little south of Glenmore, near Macleod. Not sure what it is. A couple more fire trucks flew by me though.
