Or most overrated everything is the cowboys.
How do you have a new billion dollar stadium and have a pathetic team and coach like that.

It'd be nice if San Diego would show up at some point for this game.

Chargers playing one of those classic "West coast team on the East coast" games and have surrendered.

517 total yards for Pittsburgh. San Diego isn't scaring anyone anymore.
That said, with Rivers, they are never out of a game.

Chargers just are not that good. At this point in time, I think Denver is the better team. Denver can play defence and when they need to run the ball. San Diego's passing attack and Sproules returns on special teams, and Scifres punting are the only elite things San Diego has. The rest of their team is pretty poor.

YAH - go Denver
Now all we need is McDaniels to start calling plays for Orton instead of thinking he has Brady back there.
1 - No Shotgun on 1st and 10
2 - At no time after the 1st Qtr should Orton have more pass attempts then the combined team run attempts.
3 - This is (should) be a run first team. We have arguable the best run block line in the league, and Orton would do well as a play action passer.
Fun Stat: Orton in Week 4 had better stats than Tony Romo and Jay Cutler.
vs NE, @ SD are the next 2 games.
I am hoping for a 1-1 over the next 2 games. If after week 6 Denver is 5-1 then maybe some people might give them some credit.
Dallas is simply a poorly coached team with too many me first guys.

i have NO idea how anyone can stay with the club. kudos to them if they are though.

Ya, I've been a fan for years and years. I've endured some pretty putrid seasons, trying to believe that either the post 2002 Superbowl hangover was lasting a bit longer or the fact that the Raiders were an older team in 2002 meant the rebuilding was going to be longer than expected.
With year-after-year of horrible drafting (Asomaugh is really the only bright spot in 7 years) and an owner that can't look past circus-trick-like talents (Russel throwing a ball 70 yards from his knees, Heyward-Bey running really really really fast, etc...), kills head coaches, turns UFAs off worse than Kevin Lowe, brought back Art Shell and generally has lost his marbles, I think I'm done. I don't want to invest anymore time into something that I get turned off by after week 4.
So, I'm declaring my UFA fan status. I don't think I'll hate the Raiders, I just won't spend any more money on them or cheer actively until Davis dies.

Im curious if you have started to warm up to the Favre signing.
I still think if he can stay healthy, they are the favorites to win the NFC.. yes even moreso than the Giants or the Saints.
That being said... im praying that Rodgers and his O-line have the game of their young lives tonight and crush the spirit of all Vikings fans and Favre himself. Alas, I do not see it happening.

Well I've warmed up to it to the point that I can't do anything about it. I could moan and groan up until Game 1, but after that I need to cheer for the team. And he's a part of it. (If that all makes sense)
Very similar to alot of Flames fans with Bertuzzi and/or Marchment.
And you know what, he gives us the absolute best chance to win. Bottom line.
Clifton is out again tonight, is that correct Tranny?

Clifton is still listed as questionable, but he hasnt practiced all week so IMO that means he is out as McCarthy is stickler about that.
Minnesota should have a field day with the O-Line tonight.... could truly be an UGLY game when all is said and done. And I mean a 20+ point victory for the Vikes.
The only chance i see the Pack of staying close is to get a huge game from Jolly/Raji when AP gets the ball, and blitz blitz blitz Favre and get him hurried/hit/sacked a whole bunch. Even then though, the Vikes ground game may be able to win this all by itself. Brandon Chillar is going to have to be great again as well..he is actually the key guy now in that 3-4 scheme as far as LB's go. he has been very good thus far sans a couple braincramps against the Bengals.
One more thing...win or lose this is the seminal moment in Aaron rodgers career IMO. He has been great at times and really bad at others this season. Though his O line hasnt given him protection that good teams/QB's get, he has held onto the ball far too often as well. Sacks have killed them this year at times and it has to stop.

One other note about tonights game....if Favre wins he will become the only QB in history to beat every team in the NFL.

On the NFL Network this week, they were showing Chillar getting exposed in coverage by the Bengals. And if he stays in that role against Shiancoe, could be a long night for Chillar.
He's very good at playing the run and coming up in the blitz, but he looked lost in coverage. I hope that continues tonight.
Another stat I heard, Favre is 6-0 vs. Dom Capers defense.
On a side note, I really love the NFL Network. In NFC Playbooks show during the week, they showed a nice indepth look at the new Packers scheme. Just great for an NFL Junkie like me to learn the new scheme of a rival team.
