Kids birthday party idea.

Hey guys , I am looking for some ideas for great birthday party for 5 year old. All outdoor activities are out of question since we are looking at November 1st.
Any input would be much apriciated

We took my daughter to Chucky Cheese for her 5th B-day in August and she had a complete blast. If you have lots of kids to invite that might be pretty expensive though. With her we had 8 kids come and the cost was just over $120 bucks. If you do decide to then I recommend booking the first available slot of the day. It gets really busy there just after lunch.

We had a birthday party at the Science Centre for my girl. It was fun and I don't think it was super expensive, but I guess it depends on your budget. Certainly wasn't free.

The best one I have been to lately was at the Deerfoot Inn where they have a great waterslide. Basically for $20 per kid you get the pool and slide closed off for your group, a meal for each kid, cake etc. The best part of it was that there was no life guard on duty so we got to slide head first etc. Kids need to learn to take risks somehow

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

Science Center is good, Chuckey Cheese as well.

And was very happy with them, they took care of almost everything, did a Dino themed party. One of my son's friends also had one, every kid dressed up as a super hero (they bring costumes and everything).

Yes. They sell pets.

Petland does have someone come to your home with a bunch of pets (puppies, kitten, ferret, some lizards sometimes) its not too bad.

I think you need to Hire The Hound. I would do this for my son but he's terrified of Harvey. If he grows out of it by his 2nd birthday, Harvey will be there.

I didn't hire the clown, I think Melanie had something to do with that. I hate clowns and wouldn't submit someone else to that torture.
