Nyquil to help sleep and taking ibuprofen for the aches...though they seem ineffective as of yet.
I am taking grapefruit seed extract and echinacea every couple hours though (mix in shotglass add a dash of water and chase with pomegranate juice as the concoction tastes like rancid liver)...works as good as any tamiflu or whatever prescription stuff i have ever received.

I got sick after coming back from Wangcouver so I'm guessing SARS over Pig Flu.

I've had a weird lingering cough for a month or two... hope it's H1N1 and that I don't get it later.

That's not very nice advice to give. Then he'd have swine flu and a wide range of venereal diseases.

I've heard nasty things about H1N1 from two people who I know have had it. It knocked both of them out of commission for 3 weeks in one case, and most of the summer in the other case. They were both young, fit people too. One is an 18-year-old Tai Kwon Do instructor. It sounds like nasty business. I know I'm wrapping myself in cellophane and not coming out of my burrow until April.

Get better soon. Sounds like you're already on the right track. How do you figure you got it?

Yeesh. Three weeks?
Seriously, get better soon, transplant.
On the plus side, you get to sit around and watch old movies if you want to. I recommend The Dirty Dozen. Classic.

So what's the protocol if you think you've got it? Do you go to the doctor or is that a bad thing to do because you'll probably pass it on to other people...? Just stay home? Can the doctor even do anything for you? Afterall, it's the flu.
