I like my cubicle.......
I am kind of a social person at my office, so I don't know if I would react well to being in an enclosed space by myself....

Oil and gas Manufacturing, cubicle. I was in an office for about a year and a half. I don't mind the cubicle, except the guy across from me is reallyyyyyyy annoying on occasion. But i'm sure I annoy him enough because I talk loudly on the phone all day.

IT - Cubicle
Usually it is alright, but there are times when I'm trying to figure out something complicated that it can be a real PITA. Just yesterday I was plugging my ears just to get some quiet to allow me to figure out an issue. In the long run an office would be better for my position.

I bring in my ipod, and if I need to bear down and figure something out, I just pop the headphones in. Distractions are gone and i can work with music now. Took a bit of getting used to.

Marketing, cubicle. Nice window behind me, though. My cubicle is about 100 sq. feet.

Oil and Gas EPCM Company.
Piping Designer. In a quad-pod. Still have a hatred for loud talkers and lollygaggers. I am happy I have an ipod.

Cubicle, engineering firm. Its actually a fairly open and large cubicle though. I don't feel overy isolated but I do have a bit of privacy as well. I do wish a was beside a window though.

Currently working at a Public Accounting firm downtown perusing my CA designation. We have offices all along the outer edges of our floors, then cubes in the middle. So technically I have a cube, but rarely ever in it as I’m usually out at the client.

Neither....I work in a loft and we have our tables setup without any sort of dividers. It's a pretty nice open-setup.

I work at an engineering firm, I sit in a 500 square foot room that I share with nobody else. It's just a big room with the doors to the offices of the owners and director of enginnering, yet they put up two cubicle walls in my corner, I guess for privacy. My cubicle space is big, but without the two walls, it would be a huge, open workspace.

Tech company, I'm an Engineer.
I work in a large open rectangle. I share it with one other person. We basically have two offices to ourselves.
I get an office when we move in December.

I sit in a quad-pod(never knew 4 cubicles without walls had a name)
I spend my entire day complaining about how loud everybody is in other cubicles when I'm not trolling CP.
Edit: SMART Technologies, we're all open concept.
