Islanders sign undrafted prospect
Islanders were somewhat suprised to see undrafted prospect LW Jeff LoVecchio up for grabs. He is the Bruins top LW prospect and he had a pretty solid career with Western Michigan however didn't play at all last year after signing an entry level deal with the Bruins due to a concussion. Jeff was a finalist for Defensive Forward of the Year in CCHA and was impressive in the 2009 development camp for the Bruins. He will be a welcome addition to Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
With that signing the Islanders are looking to move an AHL RW such as Weise or Yip for CAP or a draft pick. Please let me know by PM if interested.
