LOL on a day where I might have actually watched them I didn't turn the tube on till the ninth inning. 13-10 when I started watching and I watched one run come in and then the doorbell rang. Saw the highlights later and sheesh I missed another four runs.
Rangers playing a laugher in an important game for them? Weird.

No Accardo?
Apparently they hate that guy.

From DJF
Quote:
“There's really no rhyme or reason to some of the decisions that are made,” [Accardo] told the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Sunday.
“They told me I was [going to be called up when the time comes], but nothing surprises me,” he said. “If they don't, they don't. Hopefully that means I'll be with another squad next year.”
“He's been outstanding,” 51s pitching coach Dave LaRoche said in the same article. “He doesn't belong here. He's better than this league.”

Another reason why JP has to go. Player management on this team is silly.

Scutaro is having a rough game.
Edit: and as I say that, he gets a double play.

Jesus Bautista, can you NOT ground into a double play with the bases loaded. Strike out or sac fly. What a turd.
I would much rather see a rookie in the lineup over Vernon Wells and Jose Bautista. Useless unclutch players.

Wells' amazing catch in last night's ball game to preserve the 11-10 lead deserves a lot of kudos, but not much of a surprise that there was nary a mention of it anywhere in this thread. Something positive about Wells? Nah.. doesn't deserve mention. Let's bash him some more.
He's having a tough year, has a huge salary, and may be on the decline, but c'mon.. give credit where credit is due.

I don't know if I'd call that an amazing catch. It was nice, but thats a catch that 29 other CF's make too.
Dewayne Wise's catch was amazing...Wells' catch was just good.

it's one of the few times he's done something to merit his huge salary. I, for one, expect him to make plays like that.

The Damn Yankees are up next. Do the Jays have a shot at avoiding the sweep?

If the pre-Allstar break Roy Halladay shows up in one of those games they could win one. Than again right now the Yankees are at a point where they can lose a game in every series no one will be able to catch them.
