That is perfect. Bar Fries are about $10, and the $140 will be close to covering the beer for you to drown your sorrows in after selecting all of the russkies!

Can we have a poll for 26th or 3rd?

My preference would be the 3rd.

Third's good for me. At least no one will be going to the away game.
No one else mentioned timing, I don't mind starting at 1600, but if you are late...

We go 3 1/2 hours, gets us close to the Flames game.

I will (just for Locke) bring the "big board"

Do we want to cap participants? I'd say 20 would be be close to a maximum?

You beat me too it Bobblehead!

Good on you for volunteering but too bad you can't contribute to the Windom's New TV Fund...ERRRRRRR... CP Hockey Draft!

20 x $20 = $400

50 x $20 = $1000

Yea I would rather the third for this reason. I work at the dome so I am supposed to work on the 26th.

50 people!

The draft would take a full day. A snaking order would be very interesting, and over 80% of the skaters would be picked, and I'd bet all the starting goalies before the end of the first round.

Although that would be an interesting choice. People at the top of the draft would know they wouldn't have a chance at a goalie, but after Crosby, Ovie, Malkin..... who would be the first person to grab a goalie?

The 3rd is one weekend every year I know I will need to go into work. There is a chance I could be available that day, but it is a less than 50/50 chance.

Well I am suppose to be going out to Calgary sometime early Oct or late Sept but who knows if it is going to go through. I really wanted to see the season opener but not sure if my buddy with have the time off. I know I will.

So put me in an extra right now and if plans confirm/fall through I will let you know.

Even a better idea would be taking all the $20 bets and putting it towards my road trip and tickets, if you get 50 people together that should take care of it and then you get one fun filled night with the legend HOOT. Screw the draft!

I just like how you are loose with your "research" after a few drinks.

There's never been a better time to buy gold. Just ask the experts.

I should be cool for either day.

I'm excited for the big board again! I know Aeneas has nothing better to do than sit around at home doing arts and crafts!
