I was offered the Ativan, but refused it. I'm not too skeeved out when it comes to messing with my eyes. (odd, since normally I'd drug myself to the gills to avoid any discomfort). Hubs said he would take 2 if he had to do it again - he was pretty uncomfortable with the surgery (not pain, just skeeved out).
My eyes were for sure better than not wearing glasses. I was a -6 ish prior to surgery and even immediately after, I knew my vision was better, but still blurry.
