That thing looks awful. Yuck. Big red eye sore. Go with a more natural color that fits with the natural look of the river and the little bit of greenery around there.

Maybe they should have painted some Flames logos on the outside. I agree, not the right choice of colors.

Interior looks fine, outside need help. The color doesn't really work there. Is that glass in the upper windows?

Yes, there is a glass canopy on the top, I believe.

			Red: The colour of Peace.
That contradiction aside, I like it.
I just hope those lanes are moving-like a magic carpet, as then I'll be getting my money's worth. Suck it, suburbia.

Good grief! What's next, flower pots lining the inside of that bridge.

There's also another one under the LRT bridge on 9th street.

I like the design. I wonder if they are going to do the same sort of thing with the other bridge (if they are still building two) or go in a completely different direction.

That's pretty far apart for pedestrians. It's 1.2 km between Louise bridge and the Prince's Island Bridge. In an urban situation, imagine you had to walk 1.2 km to cross between 7th and 8th avenues. This will improve access.

That's my biggest peeve about the blue bins. Put them in your GD garage or wherever you're keeping your garbage during the week. Frig. Our cookie cutter neighborhood lost a measure of its charm when those big bins of blue arrived.

The second will be an international design competition. It's height won't be as constrained as this one. This bridge has height limits due to its proximity to the Heli-Pad.

That thing looks like one of those Chinese finger torture thingies ... I forget what they're called. Finger traps?
Tie that in with the Flames and you get The Tunnel Of Death.
