Question Ball hockey goalie pads?

I am joining a ball hockey league and I need some new goalie pads in adult size (31-34 inches). Canadian Tire has some decent Bauers but they are ugly Maple Laughs blue. I could get them, but I'd like other options.

Does anyone have any suggestions for where else to find reasonably priced goalie pads in Calgary?

I'm a university student. No more than $200 for glove, blocker, pads. Really though, the less I can spend the better. If I could get a half-decent set for $150 or less, I would be happy as a clam.

I should explain, it's just a summer rec league so I'm not playing lots of games. 10-15 or so, and probably some street hockey after.

Well unless you wanna hit up 2nd hand sports stores, Canadian tire is your best bet for street hockey gear. I got my 32 inch pads there and they're perfectly fine for the league I'm in

The best street hockey pads, I can almost guarantee you, are one of these 2:

Both sets have a blocker and glove available as well.

I use Itech GP-900s and find that they've held up really well and perform okay. I know that Itech no longer exists but you might be able to pick up a pair online or at the Goalie Shop.

My other advice would be to wear volleyball knee pads if you're a butterfly goalie at all, banging your knees on the floor when the pads rotate can leave some pretty bad bruises.

Theres a store that took over Sportschek in deerfoot mall that now sells only hockey stuff as we as fitness stuff... its most likely ice goalie pads not ball hockey so it will cost a bundle...
