But the Heat had 1,200 before the coach was announced and there still is no logo. I can't imagine that they have done too much advertising yet without the logo. By the time the first game is played, I wouldn't be surprised if they had twice as many STH's.

So you're denying that you're pissed at the Flames organization for the past year and the fact that they're pulling up shop from there? Many of your posts seem to be cutting down one aspect of the organization or another for the apparent mistreatment of fans in QC.

and yet is spend probably more time watching flames games when qc didn't have a home game than anyone in the state of Iowa. But since I'm a mistreated qc fan makes everything okay? I dont know whats in your water but you need to quit drinking it.
I am not from the qc area I live in the area now so I have no sence of being from the quad cities. I was pissed at first until it came out that our ownership group is a bunch of idiots.
I was also pissed watching other teams in our division getting better by trading for players and what not and we didn't do squat by gettting a 3rd pairing dmen in brad brown. ooooohhhhhhh we got a stud.
Anders had a good year in points dont get me wrong but his gliding on the ice stupid plays and all of a sudden hes wayne with the puck then coughs it up so i'm a bad person for saything that about anders? I guess I am.
Just because you like being a dick doesn't mean that I am going to quit liking the flames. Maybe I should start rooting for my home state team. They have won a cup in the last 20 years oh and it was against the flames..... Oh I cant stand the panthers or the lightning but maybe I should be a fan of them? You tell me

I appreciate that you were willing to share that. I gave you a thanks for the effort, but that logo looks too busy to me.
You have 7 different colors in there (counting 2 blues, and black and white)
What I do like is the stylized "A" with the flame. Gives an option to the Alanta A that so many are worried links the team too much with Calgary.

Should be interesting to see what they come up with. I don't think the Flames hold the rights to the Atlanta A, or so I've been told. Which is too bad, because that would have been awesome.
I assume copyrights are what is holding this unveiling back.

I would have to think you've been told wrong. The evidence is on the chests of the Calgary Flames' Alternate Captains.
Regardless, I'm guessing they have something different for Abbotsford, with the hold-up being its similarity to another, unrelated logo. So they've been tweaking it.

original Atlanta logo is red, "gold", and white
Calgary "A" is red, white...and black.
as for the design, there is less than 10% change from original design. therefore, they are "legally" the same logo.

Beat me to the punch, by 15 seconds.
First impressions is that I really dig it. Fresh new and a distinct identity. It'll be interesting to see how it looks on a jersey and what the color scheme of the jerseys will be.
