Very interesting pick at #8. One of the projected top 7 picks is out there and I think Dallas will scoop him up.

Didn't get OEL who I really wanted, but I'm not making a wasteful deal to move two spots up to grab him.

Panthers get a steal in Cowen at #10. If the Oilers got him at #10 in the NHL draft, it would be freaking awesome! I think he will go top 7 in the NHL draft (#6 to Phoenix).

One of my close friends is a scout for an NHL squad and after talking with him, I just couldn't pass up Schroeder.

I was going to take Cowen at #4, but traded down and got a free Kassian.
That made my draft.

He's a solid players and will put up good numbers in the NHL. I'm just a huge Cowen fan. That's what makes the draft fun though, varying opinions. Also this is the CPHL draft where forwards seem to have more value then D down the road. Like Duchene at 2 and Hedman at 3.

A bummer that Kassian went early, but I'm perfectly happy with Josefsson.
