Thumbs up Remember Me

This film was made by a 15 year old girl. It is the hottest thing on the internet and on Fox News today.

Lizzie Palmer who put this YouTube program together, is 15 years old. There have been over 3,000,000 hits. A fitting tribute to those in the military.

Stunning and well done is all i can say.

Lizzie might have a future in coreography. She nailed the series of pics with the music perfectly.

Sadly I think she lost a loved one over there.

I can't be caught crying at my desk again at 9:30 in the morning, so I'm going to have to wait for lunch before I can watch it.

Really well done. Agreed that she nailed it.

Anyone know who the vocalist is? Tried googling it with no luck. Sounds very much (but I doubt it is) like Moya Brennan from Clannad.

From the youtube site description, it says the music is "Pacific Wind" by (what I'd presume would be the composer) Ryan Farish.

^ I didn't think it was that great either. The pictures of the funerals were very moving but everything was too slow, there were too many random irrelevant pictures, and I wasn't a huge fan of the captions....seemed a little immature which makes sense because of her age.

Props to her for the tribute though.

Thanks, but it's the female vocalist in the piece that I was wondering.

Sounds Enya-ish also but then again with todays technology it could be anyone.

I'm not a fan of these sorts of things - it's just regurgitated propaganda.

It may seem cold or callous but I'll start feeling sympathy for our soldiers when they start protecting and fighting for International Human Rights instead of control over oil rights or other securities.

So when they start reducing famine in Africa, and build hospitals and water stations without wanting something in return. Or Sri Lanka, or other countries where it is less about control of financial properties and more about helping fellow human beings.

Very few will agree with me, but that's whats great. You and I don't have to agree.

However I grieve for the families...

I don't know... I ff'd through to read the captions to see if it was anything original. The internet tribute video has been overdone since September 11 2001, it's 8 years later and sad videos with music don't do much for me.

Pointing who these men and women are is irrelevant?

You don't need to know these people personaly to understand the message this young gal was trying to get across.

If the captions were immature then why did a news network pick up on this story? Seems to me the attention she is getting is well deserved.

Um, correction. It was Fox, not a news network.
