I'm actually a bit surprised by how well our team has done this year so far. We were rated in the mid 20's for most of the season (now at 28.92) and we have a ton of teams in our division rated 30 and higher. We actually finished ahead of a few of them, and are currently in the playoffs tied with the #2 seed.

Your best bet is to find a team in the lower divisions where you will get play time, keep the contract short, and once you are trained, move up to the higher teams.


Also, CalPuckers are looking for a 35+ DL.

I have a 6'9" DL rated at 29.33 who is constantly training but is languishing away on what I think is now a computer run team called the Whistler Grizzlies. His name is Jack Boomer and if anyone can rescue him that would be awesome. All the rest of my guys are on a great team save for poor Jack. Please help poor Jack he wants to play on a contender.

I have started my own team with a couple of friends of mine for the upcoming season. They just picked up the site and I have a couple of players in the low - mid 20's. Anyways, we are in Div 10 right now, and i have lots of room available for players. I have no RW's, 1 open LW spot, 1 center spots, 2 DL spots and 3 RL spots open.

If you want to join, we are the Springfield Isotopes in Div 10. PM me if you want a contract or have any questions on that regard. I don't know how long I want to manage but its a good spot for some beginners that want to train and get playing time.

I've been playing in some weird Barbados league for a little while, and even though it keeps saying "your season is over... wait for next season," my team seems to keep playing. Probably because it's been playoffs, and my team is starting the bronze medal round best-of-3 series later today.

Not sure how to figure out my contract status going forward.

If your guy is looking for a team still I could give him a home. We are still short lots of D-men so he will get lots of playing time. Can't promise anything on a contender......

I didn't get offered a renewal, but I would guess keeping contracts the same likely hurt some people wanting to renew. I know mine was set at $2,700, which makes it hard to train a 34 RW, as it only allows me to train second level stats once every 9 days.

Phew, scared me for a moment. I thought you were talking about my team and there was a glitch and half of it was missing.

I'm guessing some of the people just didn't know they had renewals. If he hadn't posted in this thread that he sent them, then I wouldn't have known. It didn't send me an e-mail and also on the player page, it showed "0 New Contracts" even though if you clicked the link the renewal would be sitting there.
