Well that sucks. This is a game that we needed. Doesn't look like this series will be a long one. Congrats to the Sabres though. 10-1 in the playoffs is nuts.

Another good showing for the Sabres, who have themselves so pumped up that even Joffrey Lupul is hurting people as he ran Roman Hamrlik early in this game to set the tone. That meant an early trip to the showers for Lupul whose prolonged scoring streak in the playoffs comes to an end. With Lupul out, Stephane Yelle stepped up , even receiving some PP time as Yelle ended with 2 points on the night. Sergei Fedorov made his series debut in this one, drawing in for Nolan Pratt.
