Rivers' behavior during the entire task and especially the final boardroom was inexcusable.

Annie Duke's level of competition was the most consistent throughout the season. In spite of her constant self-admiration, Duke maintained a level of professionalism in the boardroom and was victorious in both of her weeks as PM. Regardless of losing 3 out of the 5 criteria, which were really more subjective than objective, Duke raised over $315,000 more than Joan Rivers in the final task. Was that really enough for Rivers to overcome being a 2nd rate competitor to Duke during the entire season?

I do agree with alot of people that this show was fixed for Joan and you could see it right from the get go. Even just something as simple as the way things were being said about the two, you could hear how NBC and Donald Trump were setting it all up for a Joan Rivers win. "An impressive $150,830 for Joan... Annie raised, $465,725, as expected."

Disappointment would be an understatement as to how this all turned out.
I completely disagree Ivana.

Your fired too.

And Donald Jr. Get to steppin, I can't believe I shot you out of my loins like a cannon.

I dont agree on the category of celebrity appearances there. I recognized one celebrity at joans. I recognized a few more impersonators.

Maybe im not a typical example of "Joe Public" but I recognized almost every celebrity that Annie had.

Joan said she was all about winning with honor. Since when is comparing a person to Hitler honorable. Or how about calling her all sorts of degrading names. Or telling her that all her friends are white trash. Or that all her fundraising money came from the Mafia. Doesnt sound very honorable to me. Sounds more like a poor loser. After watching last night I vowed to never watch anything with Joan or Melissa Rivers involved again. What a couple of classless ladies in my opinion. Joan gets away with everything cause she is old.

I'd still wreck melissa though.

None of those woman played with much honor.

Honor is a word that shouldn't be used in reality tv.

Joan was going to win no matter what happened.
She and Trump are great friends. She gets away with abusing anyone that doesn't grovel at her feet. She QUITS and then is allowed to come back because "she would never leave her team hanging". (must be that "honour and loyalty" thing she kept spouting off about in between her "Mafia" or "Hitler" attacks on Annie)
AND she is apparently hosting a new Mark Burnett show this summer called "How'd you get so rich".

No one else had a chance this year.

How many times did we hear Trump interrupt people and tell them that what they were saying just wasnt nice. Yet when Joan talks about Annie having Mafia money he doesnt just put up with it. He started to insinuate that he believed that. Ridiculous.

The show really can't just be about numbers though, because then it's just an exercise in who has the richest friends, not who is the most deserving/talented/cunning etc. If it was only about who can raise the most money, you could just put like Bill Gates third-cousin on there, and he could dick around all game long, and then win with one phone call.

Personally, I'm pretty tired of the celebrity thing. I was much more interested seeing a bunch of unknowns fight for the Apprentice title. They were always much more hungrier and interesting than the celebrities.....even if most of them were slimey ######bags.

What I was amazed at last night is Tom Green got Annie to shut up for once. I couldn't believe she stopped talking.

Like I said, it was only one criteria for the final task. The only reason it's been brought up is because the difference was such an outstanding amount that you'd have to mention it as an argument for Annie Duke. The other criteria that I believed was clearly won by Annie Duke was the "Celebrity Appearance" one. All Joan had was Kathy Griffin - Who is a self-proclaimed, D-Lister and a handful of impersonators. At least Duke had Bernard Hopkins and the legendary, Joe Frazier along with poker pros. The rest of the criteria were really subject to opinion... "Fun-ness"? Decor? Branding? That all depends on who you speak with.

I still agree that the fix was in. I was on the Celebrity Apprentice forums on nbc.com and a bunch of people had mentioned that Joan Rivers' charity is strongly affiliated with the Trump family. Is that a big factor on the outcome? - Probably, but I think viewers knew that Rivers was going to win when Trump would dance around some of the horrible comments that she would make towards Annie Duke and Brande Roderick.

EDIT - This link shows Blaine Trump (The wife of Donald's brother, Robert) with Joan Rivers in a photo on page 13 of the pdf. Blaine is apparently on the Board Of Directors for God's Love We Deliver.

http://www.godslovewedeliver.org/pdf...ual_report.pdf

Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for charity and giving back to the community, so I have no ill feeling towards God's Love or the charitable work done by Donald or Joan Rivers. I just found that the fix to allow Joan Rivers to win was a horrible way to finish the show.

Kyle McLachlin is one of the husbands on Desperate Housewives. He was also the guy from Dune and Showgirls. As far as singular celebrity, he was probably the biggest of any that showed up for either team, at least right now in the marketplace.

I really don't get all the people feeling sorry that Annie lost. I did think Joan kicked Annies ass in that last task (save for the fundraising) and IMHO I just think Annie Duke is a real nasty piece of work. Did all you people complaining about Joan not watch the whole series? Plenty of what Joan and Melissa were saying about Duke was true. Annie Duke is the biggest back stabber I have ever seen on ANY reality show and I was VERY happy to see the Donald fire her ass.

Best quote of the whole show. Joan talking about Clint Black: "his ego is so big if he went to the bar he'd probably try to pick himself up."

I had a hard time getting into this season. I just didn't like the celebs, and I told my gf about half way through the season that it would be Annie v Joan in the final, it was too predictable.

Joan was going to win just to keep the viewers happy. As much as I despised Annie, I think she deserved to win. I'm glad Joan won just because of how much I dislike Annie, but Annie was an amazing fund raiser.

no doubt.

You knew Joan would be in the finals no matter what once the show started - as soon as they announced the lineup.

that's what is BS.

They picked the show up for next year though....I hope they get better celebs.

I think bernard hopkins is way more famous amongst guys who watch sports, but I think amongst women most will have zero idea who he is. Some guys will recognize McLachlin, but zero (or close to it) women will know Hopkins.

I really don't think anyone "feels sorry" for Annie Duke... I believe people could just see that she got hosed. I did watch the entire series and being the "biggest back stabber... on ANY reality show" is a huge overstatement. The types of things Annie Duke said or so elementary in comparison to the vicious tirades that Joan Rivers would make against her after she was done telling people she "would never watch a Clint Black concert". Seriously, what kind of childish behavior is that? I understand Joan's stance when it came to Melissa and I suppose that could be expected of her to protect your daughter, but the meltdown Melissa had along with her mother after she was fired was easily the most embarrassing moment this season.

Comparing Annie Duke to legendary, reality show villains like Richard and Johnny Fairplay from Survivor, Puck from the Real World and Omarosa is a bit much. There is no way she is even remotely in that class.
