Default Food and Wine Forum?

I was wondering how the mods/CP felt about a sub-forum in Off-Topic for food, wine, restaurant and beverage related threads.

I know that they don't come up all that much, so clutter isn't really a concern in the OT, but maybe if there was a dedicated sub-forum it might encourage some of the more foodie members of CP to trade info on restaurants, recipes and great bottles of wine/booze/beer they've had?

I know that I hesitate to post new threads about restaurants I've found and especially about things like bottles of wine and such, just because I don't want to clutter up the OT with things that would be of interest only to a few.

Go ahead and clutter away, usually we don't create a new subforum until threads on a specific topic overrun OT completely. Creating one to foster posts of a specific type usually doesn't work.

Meh....if we were to get another sub-forum...there would be a better one that food/drinks.

Either way, a good thread tends to get bumped a lot in the OT section.

Isn't that what the invisible forum only mods can see is called? I heard they can actually make orders for food and wine from the forum itself, and they eat cheese while reading their posts, which they call 'treatises.' It's the literature to our mainstream mystery fluff.

We consume the tears of banned posters and snack on their grief.
