Whitehorn was 3/4 empty at around 8:00 am.

I bet Sunridge was overflowing into mall parking though.

So with Brentwood now added, I think the free lots in the NW are now all gone.

I though Sunridge was pretty militant about their parking?

Marlborough I think will get a lot of people in their lot and the Canadian Tire in Pacific Place will see a lot of overflow.

Yes, Brentwood was the last. This of course also means a return to the days of Dalhousie being packed in the morning. At least it is easy to get a spot at Brentwood so I save a little time compared to when I had to drive to McMahon to get a spot.

Just a couple more months until Crowfoot station opens, at which time Brentwood will be completely empty.

According to the community newsletter, they had the roof on and off 3 times.

I can't wait. It's a 8 minute walk from my house.

I paid at Whitehorn today. So many parking spots available. Does anyone here part at Sunridge? I'd like to do this if there are still spots available at 8am

So Denver started a $3 parking fee late last year and boosted the ticket prices to $4 each way. How long until Calgary Aldermen vote in a fare increase to $3 or 4 bucks? How many people will bitch for a couple weeks, accept it and move on? The reality is that the city has people by the nards and can charge whatever they choose. I wouldn't be surprised if we see another fare increase in the next year or so.

Is pay in @ Anderson yet? I might have to drive tomorrow and if I have to pay there I might as well drive all the way to the Uni for faster escape after exam.

You guys are all forgetting the final option.

Embezzle your $3 back daily.

In all seriousness, just learn to walk a bit. The weather is warm now. Park a few blocks away from the Train station, where there are no 2 hour parking signs and walk. It'll do you some good. True, this really sucked when it's cold but I'm loving that extra stroll or jog now. I think of it as getting an extra kilometer of jogging in for free (500m to the station and back from where I park).

Just don't validate your ticket! Then claim "bus passes" on your taxes. You'll profit this way. It's like the government paying you to use transit

I don't like this new tax at all, but seeing as it's summer now, I will ride my bike to the nearest c-train station, it's only five minutes away. You can bet I'll be bitching come October though!

Impossible at that time. Marlborough is better chance.

until you get caught by the transit cops and treated like an idiot for not validating your pass. i guess its worth the risk if you get the money back from the govt, but it depends how often you would get caught. they seem to be checking more often in the last year imo

tickets don't count it has to be a monthly pass with your NAME one it and you have to send the monthly pass + receipt in with your taxes to make the claim.

I know tickets dont count. That's why I had the word "bus passes" in quotations. You're wrong. You don't send in the bus passes with your return. You just have to have them ready if/when they audit you, which is less then a 1% chance

IIRC, it is only the 1st 2 stops. But expect Anderson to be very busy though.

I parked there tonight when I went to the game and didn't see anything about having to pay. I couldn't find anything on the CT site about it either.
