I'd be interested in a poll:
Adam Pardy - top 4 defenseman, yes or no?

^Sure. To clarify though do you want to ask "is he a top 4 dman now", or "will he be a top 4 dman eventually?".
Or maybe that can be part of the answers.

"Is Adam Pardy a top 4 dman?"

 1. Yes
 2. No but he will be
 3. No and he never will be

 Good?

Could we get a Superbowl thread with a poll for who you think will win?

I'd love to see a poll in one of the religion/atheism threads.
Many different styles to choose from but something along the lines of:

 Atheist

 Agnostic

Religious but don't really practice, faith and spirituality are a personal thing

Religious, go to church pretty much every week but the bible is written by man and most organized religious can suck sometimes

Religious, go to church every week, the bible is the word of god

Fundamentalist. The rapture is coming and all you sinners are going to get left behind.

Something along those lines would be interesting to know.

Maybe if you could even make it a multi part/multi option poll so that age and sex could be factored in. I'd love to see how age effects religiosity. 12-30, 30-50, 50+.

A poll on fighting in the NHL
 a. ban fighting. automatic game misconduct and/or suspension for fighting
 b. tighten existing rules - must keep helmet on, no take downs or punches to downed fighter; stricter interpretation of who is an instigator; fewer misconducts req'd for suspension
 c. loosen rules - get rid of instigator penalty, or more liberal interpretation of who is an instigator; no misconduct for instigating, or more misconducts before suspension is in order
 d. status quo

Hm, adding in age is a bit difficult.. there's free poll sites for more complicated ones like that so if you wanted to make one up and post it and post the results.. or keep it simpler to host here.

I don't know if this is a bad time or not, but can I get a poll request for the following:
"How confident are you that Kiprusoff can take the Flames deep in the playoffs?"

Hmm...

Yes - I think he can carry this team to a cup and be a difference maker
Yes - I think he can be a difference matter here and there, but not consistantly
Yes - I think he can win games in the playoffs, but not carry this team (i.e. Chris Osgood)
Yes - I think he can win some and he can lose some, but all in all he can win more then he loses
No - I think he's going to be average and this team won't make it far
No - I think he's going to be unpredictable and cost this team a series
No - I think he will lose games for this team

Are those responses too long? Shorten if nessasary, or eliminate a redundent response.

Seems a little complex. I was thinking the classic "Very confident" "Somewhat Confident" "Not Confident at all".

			Given Thursdays result.
Who would Flames fans rather meet in the first round? Chicago or Columbus?

Personally, I'd foresake the division title to avoid the BJs. They remind me a bit too much of the 04 Flames and Hitchcock IMO would outcoach Keenan.

Hawks have had our number sure and there is the Khabibulin factor but I would be a lot less worried over 7 games regardless of home ice.

Also .. with a bit of luck Detroit wins the conference which would be a better match up IMO for the second round.

Could we get a poll started for the first game of the (Flames) playoffs about work/school, like did you take today off, phone in "sick", are you leaving early, or missing the game because of work, etc.
I am just curious...also maybe leave it a private poll
