You gotta be mighty stupid or mighty drunk to do that. How in hell you can get up to that speed without having looked in your mirrors is beyond me. And if he had looked in his mirrors, he'd have noticed that things didn't look right. 20 bucks says that moron was drunk.

I think they're just kids and aren't really thinking rationally about what they just saw. Probably, i can't believe we just saw that and I got it on camera.

Hope she had her belt on.

They are laughing because nobody got killed; making it funny.

Example- I tripped over the blue line warming up for hockey the other night and landed on my butt.... that apparently was funny. Earlier this season somebody else tripped over the same blue line but we heard his helmet hit the ice. Nobody laughed until we were sure the guy was OK.

I mean the guys filming the video. They knew disaster was approaching, and they laughing like hyenas.

OK, I would say they were laughing more after. The laughter before was "hey, what a dumb-dumb."

Happens often, although most people notice within the first 5 seconds of driving away.

Needless to say, I've actually forgotten to lower the tailgate a few times. Didn't drive into a bridge though.

The truck would lean back and forth pretty good I would imagine. Hard not to notice that your box is up in the air.

Which leads the question of a staged event, there both going same way down 2 separate roads and look at that truck! It looks so old the box is probably rusted in the up position, People just don't hire old crap like that to do there work.

My guess is a few kids having fun at the expense of a bridge.

Could be something like a silage truck on a service road. Farmers have pretty old equipment in alot of cases.

Does every internet video have to be met with the 'is it real' argument? Can't we just enjoy something big crashing into something really hard?

It looks pretty clear to me that there is nobody else around and that if there were anybody around they would have be able to see them coming.

Looks like a fairly slow area for traffic, specifically the backroad that the truck was one so what are the chances that any other vehicle is going to be affected.
