Anyone think that maybe the proposed extra rounds in the hottie draft should have a women of CP category?

I have killed. I have helped kill. I have killed part of myself. I cannot change this. I... I must seek Buddha. I must seek Christ.

Why do guys believe that buying girls drinks will make them more likable? All it does is make them a chump. At the bar tonight there was this one desperate dude who was going up to any decent looking woman and buying them drinks. It didn't matter that the three girls he went up to were with three guys, he was still trying to buy them drinks. It was pathetic and everyone there was pretty much laughing at him.

I have a job interview tomorrow, and have a hockey scar on my lip. There was a time (about 2 weeks ago) when it had stitches, looked awesome and was a great conversation starter.

Now it's at that awkward stage, where it's still there, but too small to obviously be an injury, and instead looks like I either ate messy food and didn't clean my mouth, or like my lips are really chapped in that one area, or like a cold sore.

Now instead of people looking and going "wow, sweet scar, what happened?", people just kind of awkwardly look at it for a second, make a weird face, and then don't say anything.

A proper response would have been "That sucks"

Then it translates into YOU going over on the weekend and cleaning her house for her.

But that would mean wearing my french maid outfit out of the house since I can only clean while wearing that. And trust me, nobody wants to see that.

I did that yesterday afternoon. I was walking to my truck when an old guy jumped out of his car and asked me for directions to the dome. It was something like 3pm so I asked him if he was deliberately going to the dome in the middle of the afternoon or if he was looking for a hotel or something and using the dome as a proximity point.
So he pulls out this rolodex card (yeah, people still use them) and shows me the address of some friends of theirs that they were going to visit. It's in Ramsay. So I tell him that going to the dome will make it awfully confusing to find that address as there's one ways and the river and so on and so forth, then I tell him I'll just give him directions to the place he's going.

With the truest intentions, I gave the guy directions. Since we were in that shopping center in douglas glen, it was a tad tricky, but I know the city so well, I was sure that with my awesome directions, they'd get there with ease.

Well, I live downtown and had to basically go that way anyway, so I decided to follow my own directions and realized that I totally f'd them up. First of all, exiting off Deerfoot NB, it's not 17th ave West. It's Blackfoot Trail South. Then, the little road that circles under the tracks is not 12th street, it's 19th street. 12th street is where I eventually wanted him to go, but I can't even remember what I called that.

I feel really stupid. And that guy probably thinks Canadians are sick f'rs that like to give bunk directions.

Nah, he probably just thinks that Canadians are so stupid that they can't even give decent directions in their own cities.

If you look at a map of our city and see the number of streets called 32nd Avenue (for instance), you would probably be right...

The fact that there are two separate roads called Barlow Trail is still my favourite though. I know there used to be plans to join them up into one continuous street, but since it aint happeneing, rename one.
