Arguing with a mod won't help your case.

You want the mods to support the extermination of bears and outlaw of dogs. Trust me...we're on you about the content, friend

The problem is you are characterizing an entire group of thousands of people. Some people disagree, some people agree, but rather than address an individual you classify everyone "cp lemmings".
No one else seems to have a problem discussing contentious and emotional issues without going over into trolling, maybe you should examine how they do it and emulate them?

Not asking them to support my position, but there is nothing wrong with my opinion and the logic is sound.
Do you guys also have a problem with the extermination of rats? You do know that Alberta is famous for being the only rat-free province in the world, right? I'm sure you also know that your tax dollars support the continued eradication of any rats that are found.
Again, why is my argument so out to lunch? There is precedent for everything I say.

I have been following, and the response is directly related to your style and content. There are good ways and bad ways to communicate a point, you are choosing a bad way.

Okay there was a misunderstanding. I don't think everybody on this board is a lemming. I was referring to the people that are acting like lemmings, which is probably less than 50% in my opinion. My apologies for not making that clear.

So you aren't classifying everyone as lemmings - only <50%.
Phew, much better.

Even that doesn't make sense.. a lemming implies that they just have an opinion because everyone else has it, but most people actually post why they have their opinion and why they disagree, which makes them anything but a lemming.
Viewing everyone who disagrees with you as lemmings is the kind of view that leads to trollish behaviour (intended or not).

There hasn't been a real problem that you've been trying to solve yet.
Parasite communities? Hardly. They come into Calgary to spend their hard earned money and shop. They come into Calgary to work the jobs that we have (which wouldn't be based in Calgary if these people weren't available). There is nothing parasitic about it.

Well I'm sure this won't surprise you but I respectfully disagree and there are people that have supported my position in every thread I've posted in. I think a minority position isn't evidence at all of trolling and the term is, in my opinion, much more offensive than calling somebody a lemming although I guess it is similar. I'm dismissing what he is saying and he is dismissing what I am saying.
Tell you what, I'm going to stop using that term, but I'm not adjusting my tone or style. If that is ban worthy, so be it.

Less than 50% could be 1%.

And calling somebody a troll is just a way of dismissing their argument and undermining their credibility. The terms are very tit for tat IMO, but I'm the only one being called out. Regardless, I did say I'd stop calling people lemmings.

My position is they are parasitic. Parasites usually harm the host. I believe the road system in Calgary was not designed to allow for these satellite communities and they have become, in essense, parasites with respect to the smooth functioning of our rush hours. It's an observation, not an insult and to me it's a real problem that forces me to leave earlier for work and get home later. It's costing me and thousands of other just like me a lot of personal time.

Couldn't the problem have been a lack of true forethought by city planners?

Well then the problem isnt the communities it's the city planning. It's been apparent for quite some time that Calgary is becoming very close to these outlying cities like Airdrie and Cochrane and that a lot of the people that live in these places are part of the Calgary work force. The city should have planned it better and seems to be reactionary rather than proactive about these situations. Dont blame the people who choose to live in areas where it's cheaper (although not by much I dont think).
