CARPENTIER RETURNS TO QUAD CITIES
Rookie Forward Back for Fourth Stint in AHL
Date: 02/28/09

The Quad City Flames today announced that center Hugo Carpentier has been recalled from the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. The rookie forward is back for his fourth tour with the Flames.

Carpentier has appeared in 13 games with the Quad City Flames this season. The rookie center has three AHL points on a goal and two assists. In 36 games with the ECHL’s Wranglers, Carpentier has 18 points on seven goals and 11 helpers.

The Quad City Flames host Houston on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The National Guard Chopper built by Orange County Choppers will be on display. The first 1,500 fans (age 12 and under) will receive Dr. Seuss Hats featuring the Flames logo. Tickets are available now at the i wireless Center Box Office, via phone at 1-800-745-3000 or on-line at ticketmaster.com.

when hes been here (which hasn't been a whole lot) he's been pretty invisible on the ice. down in the echl he hasn't even been able to get on the score sheet a whole lot. tonight he saw very limited ice time in his first game back.

I know he played a few shifts, but I don't think that I even saw him on the ice....other than in warmups!

Guess that means at least he didn't screw up too badly....
