Hmm I dunno, I got kicked in the stomach last sunday at a game. Maybe from that? I probably wouldn't have noticed cause on the same play, I sort of hurt my ankle and apperently tore off a pretty good chunk of skin (from someone elses kleats). I did get a hard push in the stomach today too, but I wouldn't have thought enough to bruise. Its just a light bruise anyways, not blue/purple in colour.
If it was from getting kicked last sunday, I have to start paying more attention to pain.

Are you in Calgary? Spolumbo's in Inglewood has panzarottis, but only on Thursday. I used to go there every Thursday. I'm much smaller now that I don't do that anymore. Anyway, if you wait until after work, there won't be any left, so take an early lunch and go. Mmmmm.

Maybe its just me, but it seems like more and more people are going to Las Vegas these days, not less. At any given day the past 3 months, I have at least one friend who is off to Vegas for a few days vacation.
 ... what recession?

I seem to notice the same thing Phan. And the casinos, dog tracks etc around here seem to be doing just fine...in fact they're thinking of opening more here if the legislation is passed. And that would add a couple of thousand jobs.

That's pretty brutal overall, but looking at it for a minute, I can see one good play: start at the V of vases, and going down across the double word score, spell 'vie', and 'ide'. (I'm guessing ide, a kind of fish, would be in the scrabble dictionary.) Twenty point for playing two vowels is pretty good.

I was just thinking the same thing recently. I swear everyone I know seems to be going to Vegas these days. Maybe there's been some good deals or something?

They are experiencing huge drops in visitors and there are, indeed, great deals. I'm going in May for a friend's wedding but I might hit a weekend there before the end of winter as well if I have any extra money lying around that needs spending.

I was there last May and the staff I was speaking with were saying they were already noticing more than the usual seasonal drop. I did my part to keep the Vegas economy clicking *sigh*

Actually, that would be interesting to know.

Another question I have is this: Are you interested in screwing with their heads? I can think of some fun ways to convince people you're Canadian and then mess with them for years.

For a second there I thought Lambeburger had posted pics to the stool he left in the toilet at the last Puckers game. Seriously man, I was impressed when I checked it out, there was an extension on that piece of crap that was bigger than most of my craps.
