The Air Canada inflight crew has been ok... their ground personnel on the other had... have not.
On my most recent Air Canada trip. I've had to wait over 40 minutes for my luggage after I had exited the plane. I have never waited under 25 minutes in an Air Canada line. I have seen an Air Canada employee take a break/leave when only one other person is working the counters with a line that was more than a 45 minute wait if there were 2 people working the counters.
They maybe isolated incidents and a lot of it will depend on the employee and not the company. But still, maybe my luggage would have gone on the same flight I was if that other employee didn't leave when there's a line that seemed to go on for eternity. I got there, as recommended, an hour and a half early and was still in line past the boarding time of my flight.

I haven't had any issues with ground personnel either. Very little waiting in lines. They've all been friendly with me as well.
I also had an incident on a recent flight that shocked me. My flight out of Ottawa was delayed and due to that I was told on descent that I wouldn't make my connecting flight due to the delay.
But when I finally got off the plane there was ten minutes before my connecting flight was due to leave so I decided to see if I could make it anyway. I ran for the flight, got to the gate and the attendant got me on to it but I was told not to expect my luggage when I arrived. Get off the plane, go to luggage pickup just in case it did make it and sure enough my suitcase arrived.

Are you sure we're talking about the same company? It seems like polar opposites.

What's even worse, is people that update their status with the CLEAR intention if wanting comments, or wanting people to react with a question. So annoying. Why haven't I erased my facebook profile yet? Actually, I think the only reason I still have it is because of friends that have moved away, or friends that live elsewhere. It's a good way of keeping in touch with them.
And for some reason, I'm embarassed to admit I have a facebook profile, and I NEVER talk about it in real life.

Removing someone off your friends list on Facebook after an argument... thats right up there on the maturity scale along with telling someone that they aren't invited to your birthday party anymore.

Carry on is your best friend
I will never give these air carriers a chance to loose my luggage. Besides i hate standing at the carousel with the rest of the cattle jostling for position while waiting for my luggage to arrive.

Haha. Someone did this to me. After not hanging out with this married couple for about two months, I ran into him at a house party. He asked why I never come around anymore and I said becuase his wife gets creepy when she's hammered. Not only was he not mad, he agreed with me and apologized. I told him whatever. She wasn't really hitting on me, just getting all touchy feely. Like she was on friggin E or something. That was that.
Two months after that, (assumably after a little trouble on the homefront) I got a nasty facebook message from her that I was a conceited pig and that she'd never hit on me and all that she was removing me from facebook because we were no longer friends... OMGZZ!!!! I losted a friendzz...!!1!
It was like she was doing me a favour. She was one of those constant updaters that would put things like "Ho Bag is eating a popsicle!!" "Ho Bag is listening to such and such song!!" "Ho Bag can't wait till 430! Just two more hours!!" "Ho Bag is excited to go for drinks with the girlz!" "Ho Bag is sleepy. Going to bed!!"
Thanks for the updates!!

So women are some disposable sex object you toss aside when she no longer fulfills your sexual gratification?
Then again if any women would allow themselves to be used for sex.........
Guess we disagree on how we would treat the opposite sex.

Plenty of girls that go out on the weekend looking for disposable sex. It's ok to want someone just for one night stand.

I can fit 4 days worth of clothes in my SkyRoll. For any moderately lengthed trip, I will never check luggage again.

I think you misunderstood what flip was saying. But I'll take this one.
Sex is a HUGE part of a relationship, like it or not. If your partner is no longer satisfying your sexual needs, and not willing to fix it, then chances are good that the relationship will either end, or be miserable. I'm not speaking from a male perspective either, as females go through the same thing when they aren't sexually satisfied (read through the Confession thread for proof) in a relationship.

I recognise that it happens. One night stands and such are not my style and never will be. A gal who does that is someone i'd never date as i would hope she would more respect for her body. Then you have all those social diseases one can contract from people you know nothing about. You're playing with fire when you sleep around.
