The last four Flames All-Star reps — Adam Pardy, Dustin Boyd, Curtis McElhinney and Richie Regehr — all now are members of the NHL Flames.

Regehr was actually the All-Star that year instead of Giordano. Giordano was given the invite only after Regehr got injured.

The writer did screw up, but it's not that his information is wrong rather he was too lazy to fact check and realize it was Giordano and not Regehr that actually participated.

the good news for Palin is that his 4 (5 if you include Gio) all-star predecessors made it to the NHL.
