My season tickets are running about $221 a piece in Q and my Grey Cup tickets are $280 a piece. Pretty pricey. But I will still go. Even if the stamps aren't in it. Even if it was Riders VS Eskimos in a crossover I would still go. That would suck big time, but i'm a fan of the league.

If there are any season ticket holders who don't want theirs PM me. I plan on going regardless as I've never seen a grey cup in person.
And I agree, a Stamps-Riders Grey Cup and the tix would rival Flames Game 6 SCF prices.
|
I still have my Flames Game 6 SCF tickets (2).
Offers?

Hmmmm I was offered $1000 for my single ticket to game 6 SCF 2004 way up in good ol section 218 and I wasn't even shopping it around.
I didn't even think about it for a second. (That's a no on the sale by the way... )
But I think if I shopped it around I could have made more than a Stamps-Riders Grey Cup ticket.
Besides, how would the Stamps and Riders be playing each other anyway? I mean I know it's technically possible with the cross over, but man, all the stars would have to align.

And why do people feel they need to choose one or the other? Me, I like both!

sorry, its one of those automatic things. whenever someone criticizes the cfl, its often because its not the hyped nfl and its canadian so it must be noo good. defending the sport you love (after hockey of course) is an automatic thing when someone criticizes it. incogneto didnt need to come in and compare the leagues either tho (what does the cost of a grey cup ticket have to do with a reg season nfl game...).
again, sorry for the rant.
the riders and eskimoes could happen, but its very unlikely. the eskimoes last season were the first crossover team to ever win a playoff game, but they still lost in the east final. it would take a repeat of that.
for the record, i think if the riders are in it vs anyone it will be a hot ticket.

Be patient. You won't need to pay face value for Grey Cup tickets

Do season ticket holders have to purchase Grey Cup tickets now? Or do you get an option to wait until later in the year to decide?

Half now and the other half at the end of April. This would be to keep your same seats for the Grey Cup.

These prices are pretty crazy. My season tickets are $139 for 10 games and $29 for the playoff game if hosted (per seat). The grey cup game alone is $233.52 per seat. I am not even sure if I want to keep these tickets right now.

I guess part of the reason is that the stadium is only going to hold 45,000 people. In Montreal last year they had 68,000 people, so more tickets = lower price.

Let me know if you don't want them. You and I sit right beside eachother and I'll have no problem filling them.

On that note, if there's another season ticket holder for the Stamps who isn't sure if they want to pay that much for the Grey Cup, let me know and I'll take a couple tickets off your hands.

These aren't my good seats in S. I bought 4 seats together in Section X so my family can all go to some games together. I will be sitting in S for the Grey cup for sure. Those tickets are 333.27 each but I only pay for one of them so it will be worth it for my first live Grey Cup.

Put me on the list of people who will happily buy any Grey Cup tickets that season ticket holders don't want.

So if the Stamps lose in the Western Final, and a severe blizzard is rolling in with forecasted wind chills of -70, can I sell you my tickets at face value the week leading up to the Grey Cup?
