The whole series of J&E Grocery commercials. J&E Grocery was a grocery store in Rochester NY that catered to the black community. The voiceover was done by a guy with a thick monotone African American drawl. They'd list the specials which tended to include things like neck bones, ham hocks and chitlings then end it with, "J&E Grocery... 139 Reynolds Street!"

Since Ottawa got it's American channels from Rochester and J&E Grocery tended to air its commercials during Saturday morning cartoons pretty much every one I grew up with knew the commercials.

I wish I could find them on YouTube but no luck.

Can't find a video of it but I love that cereal commercial where the girl is talking on the phone about "cheating" while her boyfriend is beside her.

holy hell! the fallsview casino ad they just showed during tonight's game where the horseshoes fall out of the goalie's ass had me howling. Great reprieve from the garbage subway ads.
