My falafel wrap for lunch was underwhelming, overpriced and messy.

I'm sitting at home not going to class hoping for a shot at a pair of All star game tickets.

I've been trying to limit my CP time, so I only check this thread every so often. Then I see a post I'd like to respond to but it was 70 posts ago, so I don't bother. Of course, if I did, it would be totally random, so that might work.

Why do people refer to every thread by pages or page numbers? "Check page 2 on this thread....." and so on. Since I have dsl (and doesn't everyone have high speed now?) I show 50 posts per page.

And my work's firewall is about to be replaced, so I had bette

How long have you been there? Have you faced all the ups and downs?

Personally, I am waiting for our copy of Call Pilot to suddenly stop working. Nortel's death means blissful silence and an end to my suctomers calling me directly and leaving messages rather than going through help desk.

And hey, I lost a job to the first time Nortel tanked. You'll survive too. I'd start looking for something else now though.

After hearing it on the radio at lunch, I can't get Never Miss a Beat by the Kaiser Chiefs out of my head.

Not super long, so I haven't faced the numerous ups and downs my co-workers have seen.

That's the thing. I really like my position and what I do and would prefer not leaving. We'll see I guess!

I need to stop contributing to religious threads.. They are no win situations on every side. There is no single argument that will sway either side.

Sometimes they start out alright, and there are some interesting perspectives related, but there always comes a point where a line is crossed and suddenly everyone digs in their heels.

Would minds have been changed if that hadn't happened? Probably not, but it would have been nice if a bit more understanding could be discovered before people turn into monkeys and start hurling feces.

Why does Gill Grissom's final CSI have to be the same day as sharks vs flames.

I really hate the selection of places for lunch around where I'm working today. I could go to the same place I went yesterday, and where I usually go on Fridays, but I'm kind of sick of going there and I feel its a little overpriced. Pretty much everywhere else within a 10 minute drive is a fast food chain and I try to avoid those as much as possible since reading Fast Food Nation.

It's annoying me so much that I've considered just skipping lunch but I'm getting hungry now and the vending machines only takes loonies, of which I have none.
