Tobogganing in Calgary South
Where are some decent hills in the South to take a little guy out for some decent tobogganing?
Thanks,

Little guy? When I was a little guy we went to Sundance Lake...its got a decent hill for the little guy. Need a membership or a friend with one though. But its not like the people running the front entrance look that hard anyway. Dad with kid, just flash your buddy's card.

Edworthy Park looks like it has some nice steep slopes, I've never been there in the winter though.

The road into Cranston has some decent hills, I saw people tobogganing on the right side last week.. You could try the sundace side of fishcreek.. We used to build snowboard jumps on that side near the buffalo jump by sikome.

There's a walking trail in Woodlands that leads down to Fish Creek (a little vague? ). I spent many days of my childhood winters there.

There's a specifically-built toboggan hill in the Elgin part of McKenzie Towne. Its a blast for the kids.

I would also recommend the dry pond on 162 Ave in Bridlewood. Depending on the age of your little guy its a good size. (Mine are 3 and 1 and both love it). Its kind of nice because its not a huge hill to carry them up either.

Elgin in Mac Towne has a good hill in the middle but I did rap myself around a tree and high speeds and new years day. Ogden behind the glenmore inn is also good in the south

That big-ass hill in parkland, along bow bottom trail. Just massive.

When I was little, the hill in Bonavista Downs was the place my parents used to take me to. Also, the hill in Ogden, right beside the Legion and a plaza, I don't know what the street is called though.

Lake Bonavista. A sufficiently kamikaze run on your GT Snowracer with reckless abandon towards other people can see you end up a good 40 feet out on the lake.

how old is your "little guy", if he is under 6-7 I would not suggest Elgin, There is smaller hill by the fountain on the prestwick side, a good size and steepness for kids under 6-7, and no trees anywhere around.
