I realize this is about the 18th thread on this movie, but after all the hype on the board about it I finally got a chance to watch it tonight.

I think my wife summed it up very well, "This is the stupidest movie I've ever seen, and I LOVE it!"

That's probably the best way to describe it.

The movie was nothing special, but in a minimalist way, it is better than a lot of the over -the-top movies out there of its genre. Sometimes less is really more.

While I was watching the movie, I wasn't all that impressed, but then after letting it sink in, I seemed to like it more.

could not disagrre more, I thought the movie was so terrible, and I know im part of the minority. I just couldnt even force myself to laugh, just didnt find it funny at all. I dont find idiots funny, i find them idiotic, this was not a smart comedy no matter what people may say.


But hey, thats just me, not saying im right, just statin my opinion

The part that got me was when he asked the kid for one of Summer's campaign buttons after just telling him he wasn't voting for her. Than he just hurls it down the hallway and runs off. That had me laughing a couple of scenes later.

The movie is choked full of great comedy. We've been bred on setup-punchline style humour that most people just don't recognize the comedic brilliance of this movie.

Excellent excellent writing and acting. It's a great movie.

I like every character in that movie except Napoleon Dynamite himself. That kid was trying to hard to come across as a loser and it felt fake. meh.

I thought it was awesome, for those of you that liked it make sure you watch the part after the credits with Kip and Lafawnda's wedding.

I have to say it is slightly over rated. I mean it did have a few funny parts but it wasn't nearly as good as I thought or hoped it would be. Maybe my expectations were too high going into it and it was a let down.

I have seen far worse movies, but also seen lots better.
