The most ghetto my sandwiches ever get are a toasted piece of bread with hummus and mushed up avocado. I love sandwiches way too much to make them ghetto... I always go all out.

Mine is this, only with a slice or two of bologna and some mayo...oh, and the chips have to be plain Ruffles. Toasted or not, it's delicious. It's like a heart-attack between two slices of bread!

I think all these "ghetto" sandwiches with some sort of meat and condiments are not too ghettoee. Bread/mayo = ghetto // Bread/mayo/bologne = non ghetto
My vote for the best ghetto sandwich has to be the potato chip one, I have had some sort of meat and chip sandwich before but never just a chip sandwich.

A guy I use to work with ate 6 or so spam sandwiches a day for 2 weeks straight. I can't even describe the taste accurately, but the smell is similar to canned cat food.

Grilled cheese is the classic. PB & J or PB & honey rules.
I am a sandwich fiend. Best food ever.

I have a friend that used to eat those but he'd add mayo just to bump up the disgusting factor.

Agreed! Sandwiches really are the best food ever... so many options! Different bread, different toppings, different condiments.
I could eat sandwiches every day. I think I have kind of a sick obsession though, cause sometimes I have dreams where I come up with new ideas for sandwiches...

WTF is garlic coil???
It sounds totally disgusting, but intriguing.....does one spread it? Cut it? Mash it?

I could eat there anytime. There is something about their roast beef that has an addicting quality. Gotta go with just the plain roast beef sandwhiches though.

Anyone ever been to Pittsburgh and tried the Primanti Bros sandwhiches? Pastrimi with coleslaw, frenchfries and tomatoes on sour dough. Pretty good actually.
