You would not believe some of the comments I have received when they find out I am not a guy. You guys really have some lines these days!!!

Something tells me I probably could believe some of the comments you've heard. It's all those darn "Be a player" books, I think.

Well let me share one with you.

I was playing bridge, a friend came to the table and was going to spec me play but before they did that, they said, hi J...... which identified me as a woman.

well, at the time, I had another friend who was a spectator at my table, watching me play, a man, who thought I was a man.

suddenly after that hand was over, he came out of spectator mode.

And he says to me in private (you can talk and share your comments with everyone at the bridge table or you can talk privately to people on this bridge site)

"U R a woman?"

I said, "Apparently so"

He said, "But you talk so manly"

LOL, I am already laughing, so I said, "Gosh, nobody ever told me that before"

And he says " Oh but that's ok, I like that in a woman"

I hear you loud and clear, Witty.

Working as a stylist, I end up with a bunch of regular male clients who are so excited because they get to talk about the game the night before, or something like that. I had a junior player come in a few months back, and we were talking hockey, and at one point he actually paused and remarked that I really DO know what I'm talking about.

I've actually got a guy who plays for the local junior team (USHL, I think, I forget the league all the time) who comes in once a month to get his hair cut, it's kind of amusing, he's sent half of the team down to the shop to get their hair done as well. It's great for business!

Save it to your desktop. Goto http://imageshack.us/
Upload it from there and when the page comes up, there should be one called URL for forums. You need to paste that one here.

Well, maybe I should have clarified as to my previous post, I was playing bridge on an internet site. If I was playing bridge at my local club, anyone would know I was not a man.

Unfortunately mom passed away. I am in the middle with the brown short hair and orange v neck sweater. I wanted to post one of me and buzzard but he wouldn't like that, he's such a mysterious guy

What's so bad about people seeing what you look like? Do you walk around town with a bag over your head?
Not meant to be a jab, just saying.
