My guess would be a rather basic but muddled....nope!

NDP and Liberal that I have talked to in North Van (myself included) are entirely against this. It can't go through, it just can't.

When my nearly socialist oldest friend comments to me that he thinks this whole thing is undemocratic (being that it is not the spirit of democracy) something is wrong.
This would be an ungodly nightmare if Dion succeeds in this faux coup.

Well, they probably could find a poll like that, but it would be in french.

The clip of Dion jumping up and down in Parliament today, screaming at the top of his lungs... He couldn't even complete a sentence! He just kept clenching his fists and squinting his eyes and crying about how everyone hates him.
It was truly embarrassing to watch.

When I saw his rant I thought he was yelling in french, then I felt bad because it was in-articulate English.

I'm having sound issues with that CPAC website. Are there any other websites that would show question period?

I just want to mention about this 15 MP defection thing: I have NEVER been in favour of an MP crossing the floor to sit as an MP for another party after having been elected as a member in another one. That to me is completely wrong. I was against it with Stronach, and I was against it with Emerson. However, MPs defecting to become Independents, is completely different, so long as they are listening to their constituents best wishes.

Agreed.
And even if every single one them votes against the budget and defeats the government on confidence...then so be it.
At least the elected representatives will have been heard...something the triumverate of democratic usurpers have no intention of seeing happen.

Today's question period will be playing on the website at 9:00 mountain time.
Unfortunately I can't get the audio to work for any of the videos on this website, so I'm SOL...

Conservative majority? WTF?!
So the "choice" is a tenuous coalition you don't want and wasn't voted for, or a smarmy and antagonistic non-leader gets a majority that wasn't voted for either?!
Oh and I'm sure all of CP will be up in arms over that coup too if it happens!
