Default Open-Source Photoshop-esque Mac App?

So long story short, the logic board on my Macbook Pro died and I'm stuck on a loaner with no software.

I need to do a bit of editing this weekend for a client and am stuck.

Anyone know of any open-source/free photo editing software that could get me through for a weekend?

Gimp?

EDIT: Or download a 30 day trial version of Photoshop.

Seashore is great as a simple image editor. It can't do most of the fancy layer type stuff that photoshop/gimp can do though. Or at least it can't read a PSD last time I checked.

GIMP is alright, but it runs slow as heck on a Mac, and doesn't integrate into the system very well.

Not alot of good options beyond Photoshop I'm afraid.

You could always download the trial version and accentually fall on the keyboard and enter the corporate site license code. It's happened to me 5 or 6 times.
