The first "Slap Shot" sequel came out in 2002 and the third film in the franchise hits stores Tuesday on a straight-to-DVD release.
In "Slap Shot 3," the Hanson Brothers sponsor a team of junior players and end up coaching the squad, which features three of their alleged offspring. The film is intended for a younger audience and doesn't feature any of the ubiquitous swearing that is found in the original.

the 2nd was horrible, I can't imagine the 3rd will be any better. Any excuse for a paycheque, eh Hanson bros?

According to the trailer, Messier is in it. I'd rag on Mess way more than the Hanson brothers.

What really constitutes a fata? The previous thread was 1 month old, and was probably sitting on page 185. I remember when this wouldn't have been considered a fata. I think everybody has gotten so fata crazy that they'll search for a thread that they read 3 years ago just to fata somebody! No offense to you, Boblobla, you're just following the trends.

Dunno where the line is drawn, but 1 month IMO is definately fata-able.

meh, I remembered reading it and it was easy to find by searching 'slap shot' it was the 3rd or 4th result that was returned.
I am still pretty new here but I figured a post on the exact same topic could be considered a fata.
