No, and molesters get me really fired up, but it is the internet and I can make comments like that if I feel like it...
It is a total joke that he only has 6 months left in prison. WTF was the kid even doing with him if he had previously assaulted the girl and her mother in 2000?

Yup i hate the US justice system just as much....... My first wife was killed in a car wreck that was not our fault.... i was stuck with about 20k med bills for me and 200k for 1st wife. I had to file bankruptcy and this lady never goes to trial , never has to pay damages , and never even gets a slap on the wrist. I understand accidents happen but she was driving without insurance. Sure i had uninsured motorist but it was only 50k.. I tried to just give the hospital 50k and call it even but they said they would accept the money but i would be on the hook for the rest of it..... SO the 50k pad for my lawyer ( whom did nothing) the funeral and a semester of school..... Now i have to pay for something i didnt do for another 6 years because of the bankruptcy ....
so IMO the Justice system is a farce

My god that is just awful. Terribly sorry for your loss ... You wouldn't think an injustice like that is even possible.

As I've always pointed out in these situation, we don't have a justice system, we have a legal system. And to use a popular cliche, it is what it is. It ain't great by a long shot and I want to see legislators and judges do something to fix its many problems. On the other hand, it beats the system that exists in Somalia, Afghanistan, China, North Korea, Iran, Rwanda ... for that matter, it beats most of the world. I think that's what frustrates me so much. We're close to having something good, but still so far away at the same time.

Endless incarceration, capital punishment, torture and vigilante justice are easily as damaging to society as what this guy did - in fact, vastly vastly worse.

I would argue this guy has done the greatest crime. He has betrayed the trust of a child (16 yes) but still a child. The courts are littered with this type of animal.
You think you can "fix" this "thing". They re-offend. Maybe Pam Anderson has it right.......I can't believe I typed that.
