12 Heroin Beer Challange

I doubt any of you care but....

I posted awhile ago asking you cp'ers if u thought 12 heroin beer's could be consumed during a flames game...most of you were skeptical but on saturday I did it. I may have had a brutal fall over 2 rows of seats, and i may have puked all over my Dion jersey and then accidently left it in a cab...but I did the deed and won 100 dollars from my roommate(pretty much the beer paid for me).
Say what you will but if you have every enjoyed the frothy goodness of a heroin-beer you must know that this isnt an easy task...

On sober second thought (no pun intended) this is no small feat. 12 beer in a game....not that hard....but to do Heroin beer this defyes common sense.

Can you imagine the hang over....it would feel like a marching band was trapped in you head and trying to get out.

So your heroin beer was payed for with your winnings, but you puked on, then left your Dion jersey in a cab so you took a bit of a loss there.....
Good on you though, I would have ralphed after 6-7 of those puppies.

Ha I was in 208 in one of the back rows...I imagine at times I was getting pretty rowdy but it could not have been too bad...

Me and my friend documented beers 1-11 with my phone...but beer 12 was slammed during the last minute or so of play due to a lack of stoppages in the 3rd...didnt have time to set up the shot...ill post pics when i get home

I do commend the beer challenge.

I went to the game with a board member here, and she and I felt a little bit woooo after 3, so I can only imagine with 12 heroin beers would do to a person!

First of all: Thats awesome.

Granted, it wasnt particularly intelligent, but you knew that going in. Still, you set a goal for yourself and you hit it, and that deserves some recognition. Well done.

I cant imagine 12, last NYE game against the Canucks I had 6, and then a few more with some Champagne at the Yardhouse afterwards and I only vaguely remember watching the Sabres/Pens outdoor game the next morning while contemplating suicide. I was essentially dead and seriously thinking about going the whole way, thats how bad I felt.

That truly is a remarkable achievement.

Even at the height of my alcoholism - earlier this year - I would have been hardpressed to get past 6 or 7 without turning the general seating bowl of the Saddledome into a huge vomit receptacle; if it ever got that far, of course - my antics prior to said orgy of regurgitation likely would have had me thrown out on my ass long before I got a chance to upchuck. Or at the very least, beaten to a bloody pulp by one of the juice monkeys who always seem to take drunken antics personally and use them as an excuse to lay a beatdown. This would have resulted in a hospital visit whereby some poor physician would have been forced to attempt to stitch me up while I did a merry-go-round puke session in the examining room.

So, my hat off to you, good sir, for doing what many of us consider the impossible, and for pulling it off without permanently marring the upholstery of the fine Saddledome seats, getting sh*tkicked, or thrown out of the game for being a bigger ass than Mick McGeough could ever dream of.

Yeah, that's quite impressive. Back in my heavier drinking days, I would consider 2 beer/period a pretty solid night of drinking. Can't imagine trying to get through 4/period. I'd probably have to show up for warmups and get the first half dozen in by opening faceoff.

It's funny because a person can go to a pub and down 10 - 12 pints of draft beer watching a game and not feel like you would drinking the heroin beer. I know that's not the debate in this thread, but there is definitely a difference!

I did 8 once. I puked. I think my limit to go without puking is probably 6... but I doubt I'd be coherent. I could still walk though as I walked after 8. It was the very long car ride to my sister's house that did me in.

I'm not really sure though that this is something to congratulate you for?!
