Why rent a gym, when we can play street hockey?
It's okay once in a while, and when the weather is bad, but we could play every week informally outside.

Yeah we can do a street hockey game, this gym is just a suggestion for bad weather.

I'm down, and available any day the Flames aren't at home, except for next weekend.

For the jerseys how does everyone feel about the 04 style jerseys? Personally I like the look and the material as said before is a little better for ball hockey.
Does the pre concept look good?

I think a lot of people (me included) already ordered the CP red hockey jersey, so we aren't going to want to have to buy different jerseys.

It's also a matter if anyone actually does order the jersey's. I haven't really heard an update on the status of the CP jersey's in awhile

That's not bad. Not sure what's happening with the other jerseys.

I'll field that one. I started the thread, but in the last post (it's a few pages back now), I had stated that simply don't have the time right now to take care of ordering the 15 jerseys or however many there were. The added stress (no matter how minimal) of collecting money and shipping jerseys (there were 3 or 4 people who needed them shipped), not to mention meeting up with everyone when the jerseys come in, is just too much right now.
However, Dan02 has stated that he would take over the ordering and money collection, so I'll talk to him and see if he's still down for that, I;m sure he is.

So I just did some quick number crunching just in case the RBK edge ones don't work.
Blank Custom Flames jersey - 29.95
Full front 'Calgary Puckers' crest - $30.00
Sewing crest to jersey - $2.50
10" custom twill, 3 color (back number) - $7.00 (per digit)
4" custom twill, 3 color (shoulder number) - $4.50 (per digit, remember to x2 for two shoulders)
So $78.45 for one CP 04 style jersey without name bars
That's just for one number so $85.45 for two numbers.
I know this has been posted about 30 times but here's the name bar costs from the CP jersey forum
3 color C's and A's - $5.00 (if you want a C or A on your jersey)
3" letters (name on back of jersey) - $2.50 (per letter)
name bar (to put the letters on) - $2.50
sewing namebar to jersey - $1.25
So around 210 for both jerseys.

Keep in mind, if you go with the CP reebok jerseys, a lot of the cost is also in the socks. The '04 style socks are about $25 for home and away combined, while the reebok edge socks are $30 per pair, so $60 for home and away.

btw If no one takes over the ordering for the CP jerseys, you guys can always just do it for your team. You would just have to get me to phone cal-crests and give them permission for your team to use our jerseys and logo, then you can order away.

Does anyone know if this weekend will be nice weather? How does Sunday look for some street hockey? Get a few guys out before the game, and then maybe head to Pete's afterwards (ie/ for the PPV)???
Otherwise, I should be good for maybe Monday or the following weekend... what do you guys think? Any suggestions of places to go?

I would like to play and I think that Peter suggested somewhere earlier in the thread that sounds pretty good.

No good for me, as I'll be in Grande Prairie, but next weekend would definitely be good.
