This house o' queers voted PC. May be the only time in history we do.
We took it as a statement to the PM "Ok, here's your gov. prove you can do something with it."
It may have had more impact if we were out east, but still.

Rahim Jaffer's seat in Edmonton Strathcona looks like it might be in trouble. Incredible.
Edit- I guess it may be too early to be saying that.

How is the Calgary NE non-conservative conservative doing? If he wins that is basically a conservative seat,

A real positive is that the Torries picked up 10 seats in ONT. Looks like Harpers culture comments cost him a majority in this election.

Is the CBC still saying a possible majority? Or have they moved off of that?

I think they may be backing off that a bit. Looks like the Conservatives need 30 of 37 remaining seats for the majority.

My riding, Edmonton-Sherwood Park currently has an Independent leading, lol. He's a strong right winger.

Had an idea!
|
The conservative candidate in my riding has 65% of the vote so far....with 307 votes.
For 100,000 plus people, I would hope more than 10% showed up to vote.

May with brilliant words in conceding.....
Quote:
In her concession speech, May said the Greens have run "the kind of campaign that other politicians could only dream of."
"If the kids five years up could have voted, I would have won in a landslide," she told a rowdy crowd of supporters.
|
Huh?...if Five year olds could vote....she would of won?
really? Not when i was promising two more recesses a day, cotton candy AND and X-box for eveyone.....along with a nap before dinner but only getting woken up with O Henry's and coke by the litre.
