As for the no signs up, geeze, I don't even have a dog and I know that the city has leash laws everywhere unless it is specifically an off leash area.

Did you learn that by reading threads like this? geeze louise!!

I totally agree with this one. Annoys me to no end. Of course, I'm a dick about it and when I come across an off-leash dog on the path, I will entice it to follow me. I then speed up just enough so it can't catch me and usually I can get them following me for a fairly good distance, leaving the owner running after us too . Serves em right.

I hope it happens to you sometime soon. I'll try and rub your nose in it too. I hope you get a parking ticket...

If you had been walking your dog, he would've been on a leash. Playing in a park isn't walking a dog.
With each further post you make, the being a prick factor is slowly moving to your side. Let's hear it for a bylaw officer doing his job that he's paid to do! (I know, it must be shocking to you, the nerve of someone doing what they are supposed to do).

Why does someone have to drive to an off leash area?
|
So that they can have their dog off leash. Empty field or not, there have been plenty of times we had been walking by that field and someone had their dog off leash and when the dog saw us it came running up to me and my dogs barking and growling at us. Just because someone is alone on the field there is nothing to stop that dog from aggressively approaching someone walking by on the sidewalk.

Well then I guess you pay more attention to those kinds of things than I do.

If he got a parking ticket he would've either paid it or fought it in court, either way he wouldn't come on here and bitch about the city's bylaws and the people who were just doing their jobs as they're supposed to because that's what the taxpayers paid them for.

so we can choose which rules we want to follow......I hate shoveling snow, so i can stop shoveling the city sidewalk?
It's a bylaw. If you own a dog you need to be familiar with the bylaws affecting ownership of a dog. You also need to OBEY the bylaws......crazy I know.

Thanks bud. People like you shouldn't legally be allowed to have computers. You aren't doing society much good by having it. I got a ticket when a warning would've worked just as well. I hope you feel better now. name calling? low

No one claimed to be perfect in this thread, it's called not being a dick and owning up to your mistakes like any other productive members of society would.

Its not about being perfect and doing nothing wrong its about stepping up to the plate and accepting your responsibilites when you break the rules.
