Canadian English Leaders Debate
So the debate starts in 10 minutes.
I'm stuck in class, but will try and follow along as best as possible.
You can watch it online here:
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canadavotes/d...nts-video.html
Will May wear a sea urchin again?
Will Dion be able to explain his 30 day plan?
Will Ducuppe stick out his tongue at English Canada?
Will Laytons Mustache consume us all?
Will Harper use his Dark Sith powers again|?

I liked this the last time we had a federal election, so I am tuning in again. I may become distracted by Sarah Palin at times though.

Wow. Harper on the attack immediately. First question and he stares at Dion and tells him that his platform sucks.

Funny stuff.
I am already bothered by Elizabeth May. Do the Greens even have enough people running to win the seats required to govern? Worst political party ever.

Dark Lord Sith is in full effect. Harper's stare is downright creepy. He definitely gets my vote.

How many seats do the greens have?
Jack Layton is terrible.

It drives me nuts that no one actually answered the question. Not one of them

I think Harper would win a majority, if he walked over to Elizabeth May, and just wheeled her chair out of the room.

It seems pretty desparate for it to be a 4 on 1 debate...
Everyone attack the Conservatives.

Layton is pretty good. He may be an economic moron, but he's sure doing a good job of stealing votes from the utterly incomprehensible Dion.

That isn't hard though, I think Elizabeth May could steal votes from Dion...

Ahaha! I actually laughed out loud. I am impressed with Layton and Harper's poise so far.

I think they have one currently but to answer an earlier question, yeah they have lots of people running, in nearly every riding I believe. Far more than the Bloc anyway, who seem to fit the 'national' rules somehow.
I really wish the Greens had better leadership/personal, cause I think they have a decent platform.

Oh, Jack. You're talking about factory jobs, yet you want to tax corporations more. That'll create more factory jobs...

Happens in the netherlands in the 60s/70s
they found oil, money flooded into the country, driving out investment in other sectors
norway has managed to avoid it with heir sovereign investment fund, only invests outside the country
IT's basically the reason why alberta's economy was a 1 trick pony in the 70s
