Trades without a post

I have been noticing a lot of trades have been made where a post was not created. While I suppose it isn't mandatory, I think that's what half the fun of this league is, to see what other GM's think of the deal. Whether they are small trades or large trades, I personally like to see all the deals, even just to know who is on that team at the very least.

Anyways, just a quick note I thought I'd bring up.

Depends the size of the deal. If it's two picks or AHL'ers getting traded, then whocares?

I'd still rather see it, personally. Then you at least kind of know what that team is looking to do. And really, it takes 2 seconds to make a post with AHL guys or draft picks.

I can see it if the trade is a useless one then no point in announcing it.

My issue is more with feedback on deals, I know I make a ton so if you guys want to lay off mine then go for it but for other GMs who make some rare deals I think more feedback is nice. The best part of this league is getting feedback/opinions on certain deals, even if you lose them. I can't even count how many things I've used in conversations with my friends that I read or spoke about with GMs in this league first!

I don't like to post my trades as they usually are bad deals that I didn't want to make.

If I can make the deal and have it sneak through the league then it makes it that much better.

While not mandatory it would be good to see. Frankly some of our GMs are not putting in enough time right now. I've been nice over the summer but with the new season approaching we'll need to see things pick-up from some in terms of posts and/or MSN presence.

Have about 5 great GMs waiting for teams right now. That's not intended to be a threat - just fair warning that once the season starts we'll need to see more from some.

I like to see a post on the bigger deals, but some deals it is hard to make a post on. Like today I shipped out Goc for a 2nd? Is that deal really big enough to make a post for. But I do agree any significant deal should be posted.
