One of my favorite movies is still, "The Silence of the Lambs". IMO, Anthony Hopkins plays the part of Hannibal Lecter so well you'd swear he's crazy in real life too.
Christopher Walken vs Dennis Hopper in True Romance and their discussion on Sicillians.
Also, notice James Gandolfini in the background before he was Tony Soprano.
Great scene! Such an underrated movie too. Brad Pitt's little bit part is money!

For those of you who are fans of the show "The Shield"
I'm a hue fan when they have the end of an episode end with a music montage. It works because they choose fitting songs and they only do it 1-2 times per season.
this one is my fav, the finale to season 2 with a great song.
The one in Season 5 with the Smashing Pumpkins song is also very good.
Watching these scenes gives me goosebumps and pumped for Season 7 in 6 weeks!!!
There are two more like that which aren't on Youtube. One is with Ashes to Ashes by Steve Earle, and the other is Demon Called Deception by Grant Lee Buffalo. GREAT STUFF! I will try to connect the episodes with these descriptions but since I don't actually own the DVD's (YET!) it may be a bit tough.
I spent this spring rewatching and watching for the first time, Seasons 1-6. I think I could do it again over the next six weeks and enjoy it immensely.
I'm sad the show is ending, but I think that they are going to wow us big time with this 7th season!

One of the best movies of the last 20 years, one of the best scenes ever:
Daniel Day-Lewis is the greatest actor in the world. Easily.

The scene from Gone Baby Gone when I realized that Casey Affleck was no longer Ben's little brother. The last 80 seconds was so unexpected...he pulls it off perfectly. I guess growing up in Boston probably helped! NSFW
Possibly my favorite scene from this classic!
More to come.

Granted I'm a big Trekkie so maybe this hits me more then the average bear, but still I've seen Wrath of Khan a bunch of times and it always invokes a reaction.
I've got a really bad movie memory, so I know there's tons that I can't think of off hand that are great. The horse head in Godfather....Tony Montana's demise in Scarface.....opening beach landing in Saving Private Ryan are a couple that come to mind. One of the most awesome scenes in movies for shock value and a cool song at the same time though has got to be this....
I'm not a big YouTube guy ... sorry, but some of my favorite scenes include the parkour sequence in Africa from Casino Royale, the scene in Die Hard where hero and villain are together (very tense), and everything in T2 from Arnie's rescue of John to the break-in at Pescadero.
