There was a tiny bit of hail followed by a decent amount of rain in the deep south of the city. Last time all we got down here was wind ...

I have always wondered how areas around Calgary can have warnings but NOT Calgary.
A lot of times the warnings you see on the maps are more focused within the warning itself. For example, the vulcan one says "Vulcan county near Lomond travers and Little Bow reservoirs". It's possible for the area around Calgary to be red/yellow, but the actual warning/watch area isn't near Calgary.

In this case, Calgary doesn't have a warning because the storm probably doesn't meet criteria here: http://www.mb.ec.gc.ca/air/severewthr/warning.en.html

Lightning strike on an under-construction house up here in Evanston, and it caught on fire. A worker was inside, but not hurt, fortunately. Having been in a home that was struck by lightning, I don't envy him, he'll be spooked for a good couple of days.

Well some serious crap went down in Saskatchewan tonight, and is still going on in Manitoba. Multiple supercells, multiple tornadoes, baseball sized hail, 14km cloud tops. Should be some good video tomorrow from the whole thing. Hopefully any CPers out that way are safe!
