Dead giveaway on this one is the 3 screw truss cover. Gibsons come with 2. However some knockoffs also have 2. Some people have been trying to pass these off as the real thing on ebay and other places

not going to lie i got tricked into buying a fake gibson once. but i was young and naive and with my minimal gear head knowledge i have now I wouldn't have fallen for it. But wow, these ones are accurate.

No the one you are looking at looks pretty good. I would ask for his receipt though just to ensure its the real deal.

He got one... If it would be a rip off, I think it´s him that would have been fooled in the begining... What I cant figure out is that the serieal number has 7 digits, and not 8?
